This November, a truly magical moment unfolded at Oishi Park, a serene and picturesque location near Lake Kawaguchiko, Japan. As a photographer who’s been to Yamanashi a handful of times now, I have been part of numerous photoshoots, but this day was uniquely special. I had the honor of capturing Blake and Erica's surprise proposal, set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji, on a crisp, clear day.
The day began early, with the first rays of the sun casting a golden glow over Lake Kawaguchiko. The air was crisp and clear, perfect for a photoshoot. I felt the excitement and anticipation in the air, knowing that these moments would be cherished for a lifetime.
The choice of Oishi Park for the proposal was perfect. Known for its panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the park offered a picturesque setting that added an element of grandeur to the occasion. The majestic mountain stood tall in the background, its iconic silhouette adding depth and beauty to each photo. The park, being less crowded at sunrise, provided a serene and intimate atmosphere, ideal for a surprise proposal.
