Named as one of the Top 15 Photographers in Asia by Wezoree, Sofia Hiramatsu is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Nagoya, Japan, working with couples across the country and internationally.

Born and raised in Birmingham, UK, with Pakistani roots and years spent living in Hong Kong and the UAE, Sofia now calls Japan home. Her multicultural perspective shapes how she connects with people and approaches every story she documents.

She began photographing professionally in 2014, and more than a decade later, she photographs unobtrusively, offering thoughtful direction when needed while creating space for couples to feel entirely themselves. The result is imagery that reflects not only how a day looked, but how it truly felt. Her style is a mix of documentary, with an editorial, fashion forward flare.
