Engagement Photoshoot at Meijo Park & Hisya Odori | Nagoya Photographer

Engagement photoshoots are a cherished tradition for couples, capturing the joy and anticipation of their journey toward marriage. I had the pleasure of documenting Dan & Maricris’ engagement session here in the beautiful city of Nagoya. We chose to shoot at Meijo Park with the iconic Nagoya Castle as a backdrop and then to shoot in the evening ambiance of Hisaya Odori Park

We started at Meijo Park, an oasis in the heart of Nagoya, offering a great natural setting for the shoot. With the majestic Nagoya Castle in the background, it was beautiful to capture the couple during golden hour.

Because of the time of the year, we were able to get a hint of the wisteria starting to bloom too.

To add variety to the shoot, we decided to venture to Hisaya Odori Park, a  15-minute train ride away. As the sun began its descent, the park transformed with the evening lighting, adorned with twinkling lights in the background.
