Angela & Ken’s Intimate Wedding in Nagoya | Nagoya Wedding Photographer

After photographing weddings for 9 years, I recently had the honour of capturing my first wedding in Japan! The picturesque home of the groom’s family in Nagoya set the stage for my couple’s special day. It was a fusion of Western and Japanese traditions, allowing me to create unique and captivating photos.

Angela (Bride) and Ken (Groom) chose to host their ceremony in Ken's mother's home, adding an authentic touch of local culture to their special day. This wedding also marked Angela's first visit to Japan, making the occasion even more fun. The couple's decision to celebrate their love in Ken's hometown added an element of excitement and exploration to their wedding.

The bride was adorned in a simple yet stunning silk white gown, exuding elegance and grace. The minimalist design of her dress beautifully complemented the traditional Japanese aesthetics.  Her choice to prioritize simplicity allowed her to shine, highlighting the timeless elegance of the occasion.

Initially, due to weather uncertainties, the plan was to photograph the wedding inside the home. However, fortune favored us with a rain-free day, offering an opportunity to capture shots in the beautiful Japanese garden surrounding the house.  The picturesque garden, with its harmonious blend of nature and architectural beauty, provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's photoshoot.

A big thank you to the wonderful bride & groom, Angela and Ken for giving me this wonderful opportunity. Thank you to you and your family for entrusting me with this unforgettable milestone. Your warmth and support made this experience truly remarkable.  May your journey together be filled with endless love, laughter, and cherished memories!
